Meet the Artist
Susan Riley Gee is an accomplished local artist located in Mackay, Nth Qld. Sue regularly holds workshops at the Mackay Art Society and is part of “Artists in Residence” on Hamilton Island, where she offers tutoring.
She is also actively part of the Mackay & Whitsundays Art Trails.
Susan first indulged in her love of painting when she travelled around Australia in 1974, and displayed her works in local galleries around the country.
Eventually settling in Mackay in 1974, retiring to their acreage in Cape Hillsborough.
Through her involvement in “Artists in Residence” and Mackay Art Society, both these have brought her closer to like-minded people within the community.
